Easy read but after reading the section about crime and violence in Mexico, I was far from comforted-in fact it may have changed my mind about even thinking of moving to Mexico. Mr. Jimenez paints a terrifying picture of being kidnapped while using an ATM, not riding a bus at night and even during the day opting for one that uses toll roads for fear of hijacking. And all this in the "safe" areas.I have traveled extensively in Central America and the Islands and never felt unsafe. When my husband was alive we visited Mexico without qualms albeit 20 years ago. We lived in Europe for 2 years and went everywhere without issue.I know to be self aware but this is over the top.I'm sorry Mr. Jimenez if you meant to assure, you did quite the opposite.I would like to hear from some expats living in Mexico as to their take on this book. If you are thinking about moving to Mexico, READ this book! There is so much great information in this book, and it offers a variety of resources to make the transition a lot easier.Highly recommended!!!
